Oplatki wafers are still available in the vestibule before and after each Mass. An offering of $5.00 per envelope is requested, there are white envelopes for your convenience on the table. Please place those envelopes in the offertory basket or hand it to a clergy member. Thank you!
Do you really understand what Advent is all about? Why do we do it and where did it come from? Please join your fellow parishioners on Tuesday evening to discover a deeper understanding of the ancient Jewish prophecies of the Messiah and how they can help unlock the hidden meanings of the season of Advent. Friday evening Holy Hour of Reflection will be held on Friday, Dec. 21st from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Church. Come spend some quiet time this Advent Season in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. All are welcome!
Our Lady of Peace parish is celebrating the 4th night of the traditional Advent Novena of Masses “Simbang Gabi” (Night Mass) on Monday, December 17th at 7:00 p.m. Following the Mass is a reception in the school gym. The very popular Filipino “pancit” and more will be served. To add to the occasion, our school children will entertain with their dances. Come celebrate with us!
There will be NO confessions on Saturday, December 22nd in preparation for Christmas.
