Our Lady of Peace is proud to welcome to new families to our school community.
Diocesan schools admit students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students in these schools.
For the Current School Year: We accept registration forms on a rolling basis, subject to seat availability within each grade.
For the Upcoming School Year: We are now registering for the 2020-2021 school year.
Age of Admission: A child entering school must be in compliance with the age requirements of the State of Illinois regarding age of admission.
Pre-School: OLP is pleased to offer half-day and full-day options for our preschool students. For the 2020-2021 school year, students entering three-year old pre-school must be three on or before September 1, 2020. Students entering four-year old pre-school must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2020.
Kindergarten: OLP currently offers both full and half-day kindergarten options. For the 2020-2021 school year, students entering kindergarten must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2020.
Application Requirements: An application for admission, a non-refundable registration $100 fee, original birth certificate, original baptismal certificate (if applicable), and copies of immunization and health records.
Dental: A dental examination is required (by state law) upon entrance to kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades. Dental exam forms must be submitted to the office prior to the first day of school.
Medical: A medical physical examination is required (by state law) upon entrance to kindergarten (including a lead certificate) and again to 6th grade – or to any grade if a student has not previously submitted a physical examination form to OLP. Physical exam forms must be submitted to the office prior to the first day of school.
Vision: A vision examination is required (by state law) for all kindergarten students, as well as, any student transferring into Our Lady of Peace School.
