For over 45 years Our Lady of Peace has been part of the City of Darien Blood Drive. Over the years many parishioners have felt a commitment to help those in need. Their commitment has been strong enough to give their time and themselves to support this worthy cause. They have donated blood and assisted at the July blood drive. Any healthy adult over the age of 17 and who weighs at least 100 lbs. can donate. Each pint donated aids 3 individuals. We hold 5 blood drives each year. February, May, September and November are held at Eisenhower Jr. High and July is held at Our Lady of Peace school gym.
