Welcome

Welcome to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Parish, we would love to get to know you better...

NEW! Children’s Liturgy at Our Lady of Peace!

OLP is starting a new ministry to teach children in
K – 4th grade (ages 5 to 10) during the 10:15 Sunday Mass.

? Do you feel called to teach God’s littlest ones?
? Do you know anyone else to ask who might be called?

We need 6 to 8 volunteers who enjoy working with children and will commit to a rotating schedule at the 10:15 Sunday Mass. You will not be expected to teach every week.

Duties: Teach children the Sunday gospel at their age-level using teaching resources provided.

Teaching resources, instructions and training provided. Rissa Loucks will facilitate this ministry.

VOLUNTEERS are required to provide a Protecting God’s Children certificate of completion or complete a one time workshop*; and authorize a criminal background check, which OLP will procure.  *R.E.O. will provide dates, times and locations for the PGC workshops. There is no fee to the volunteer.

If interested in volunteering, call, text or email Rissa today!

A Quality Education in the Catholic Tradition

Our Lady of Peace Catholic School has earned its time-honored reputation for excellence. Since 1963, we have grown to be one of the most respected elementary school programs in the DuPage County and the surrounding suburban Chicago area.

Our philosophy is simple. We are here "to teach as Jesus did." Our students, parents, teachers and clergy work together as a family to foster a life-long love of learning.
